According to a report from Guangzhou, plans were set to develop phase 2 of Guangdong Science Center located in Guangzhou University City.
     Guangdong Science Center was completed in 2009 and up to the end of 2011 more than 5 million people have visited the center and the facility has become one of the most important educational bases in Guangdong Province.
     With an investment of RMB600 million, phase 2 will comprise of 8 themed areas designed to provide educational information and technology.
