Shangri-La Asia Limited announces that it will open a Shangri-La hotel in Lixia District in Jinan. To be managed operated Shangri-La Hotels and Resort, the new five-star hotel will consist of 400 rooms and is expected to open in 2015.
     The hotel's guestrooms will range in sizes from 45 sq m (standard room) to 225 sq m (suites). In addition, a Horizon Club will be available to offer a host of amenities and privileges. Together with the Shangri-La hotels in Qingdao and Qufu, the Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts will have 3 hotels in Shandong Province in eastern China.
     The Shangri-La Group currently owns or manages 72 hotels under the Shangri-La, Kerry and Traders brands, with a rooms inventory of over 30,000.
