Housing Society plans 1,200 flats in Sham Shui Po
The Housing Society will offer more than 1,200 flats from 2013 at affordable prices, under its five urban renewal projects in Sham Shui Po. The projects target the mass market, particularly first-time homebuyers. The society will not impose any specific eligibility conditions on applicants.
About 70% of the 1,257 homes will be two-bedroom flats measuring about 500 sq ft and the rest will be 400-sq-ft studio and one-bedroom flats as well as three-bedroom homes from 600 sq ft to 700 sq ft.
The first of the five projects to be completed will be two 327-flat blocks located at the junction of Po On Road and Wai Wai Road. The development is expected to complete in 2013.
