The focal point of Tianjin Binhai New District in Tianjin will be the development of Yu Jia Bao Financial District. Being the CBD of Binhai New District, Phase 1 of Yu Jia Bao Financial District commenced construction in 2009 and within 3 years will be in full swing. Phase 1 is expected to complete in 2014.

     The master plan of Yu Jia Bao Financial District covers an area of 3.86 square kilometers. A total gross CFA of 9.5 million square meters will be completed in 4 phases. Total investment amounts to RMB200 billion will be spent and it will take approximately 10 years to complete the entire project. Upon completion, Yu Jia Bao Financial District will become the largest development of its kind in the world.
