Murray Building and Central Market sites rezoned
The Town Planning Board has announced amendments to the approved Central District outline zoning plan, which involves the rezoning of the Murray Building and Central Market sites.
     The Murray Building site has been rezoned to other specified uses, annotated building with architectural merits, and will be preserved for hotel use, while the Central Market site has been rezoned to other specified uses, annotated building with historical and architectural interests, preserved for commercial, cultural and community uses.
     Other amendments include rezoning the sites of Pacific Place, Cheung Kong Centre and the International Finance Centre to reflect their existing developments.
