Public Sports Park Construction Project (Phase I) - Tender Notice

The Public Sports Park, located on the former site of the Yat Yuen Canidrome, covers an area of 40,425 square meters. The site is functionally divided into four main buildings and an outdoor athletics field:


Building 1 (Central Zone – 4 floors)
Features include a swimming pool, children's splash pool, basketball court, jogging track, and a cycling path for children.

Building 2 (North Zone – 6 floors)
Planned facilities: skateboard park, table tennis courts, rock climbing wall, volleyball courts, and two floors of badminton courts.

Building 3 (Adjacent to Building 2 – 7 floors)
Will accommodate a 5-a-side football field, two floors of multifunction halls, multipurpose activity rooms, and outdoor event spaces.

Children's Pavilion (South Zone – Phase II – 4 floors)
Includes an outdoor children’s activity zone, indoor play center, creative classrooms, reading areas, and functional basement space for activity rooms and storage.

Outdoor Athletics Field (East of Building 1 – Phase II)
Will feature 8 standard running tracks, facilities for high jump and long jump, and a standard artificial turf football pitch at the center.

Basement Parking Facilities
One basement level throughout the site.

Phase I garage: 69 car parking spaces and 166 motorcycle spaces.

Phase II garage: 415 car parking spaces and 425 motorcycle spaces (final numbers subject to construction plan approval).

Project Scope
The Public Sports Park will be constructed in two phases:

Phase I includes demolition of existing structures within the zone, construction of Buildings 1, 2, and 3, and the underground parking facility. Construction activities will be coordinated to ensure uninterrupted operation of the adjacent original sports ground and Lotus Peak Sports Centre for public use.

Phase II will commence only after the completion and opening of Phase I structures.

The appointed project architect is P&T Group (Macau) Ltd.
