Kai Tak site to be sold

A Kai Tak site in the 2020-21 Land Sale Programme will be sold by public tender, the Lands Department announced recently.
Kowloon Inland Lot No. 6603 at Kai Tak Area 4E Site 1 is designated for non-industrial purposes excluding office, godown, hotel and petrol filling station. It has a site area of 5,548 sq m with a minimum and maximum gross floor area of 18,309 sq m and 30,514 sq m.
The tender invitation for the lot will open on October 30 and close on November 27.

The land sale documents will be available online from October 30.

The Government rejected all three tenders received for the purchase of a non-industrial site in Tung Chung, the Lands Department announced on October 21. It said the tendered premiums did not meet the Government’s reserve price for the site.
The site at Tung Chung Town Lot No. 45 at Area 57, Tung Chung, New Territories has a site area of about 12,335 sq m, and a minimum and maximum gross floor area of 70,310 sq m and 117,182 sq m.

The department said the Government’s policy objective to provide a steady and sustained land supply to the market will not be affected by individual tender exercise results or the economic situation at a certain time.
