Tai Po site to be sold

A Tai Po site in the 2020-21 Land Sale Programme will be sold by public tender, the Lands Department announced on September 18. Lot No. 241 at Tai Po Road - Tai Po Kau is designated for private residential purposes. It has a site area of 6,238 sq m with a minimum and maximum gross floor area of 5,615 sq m and 9,357 sq m. The tender invitation for the lot will open on September 25 and close on October 23. 
     The Buildings Department approved 19 building plans in July - four on Hong Kong Island, nine in Kowloon and six in the New Territories. Of the approved plans, seven were for apartment and apartment-commercial developments, five were for commercial developments, two were for factory and industrial projects, and five were for community services developments.
     Consent was given for works to start on 15 building projects, which will provide 71,595 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 1,284 units, and 84,763 sq m for non-domestic use. The department also issued 17 occupation permits - six on Hong Kong Island, three in Kowloon and eight in the New Territories. Buildings certified for occupation have 10,213 sq m of gross floor area for domestic use involving 172 units, and 5,507 sq m for non-domestic use.
