The inaugural Clean Energy Heating Summit to help accelerate China's clean energy heating reforms
Energy efficiency and emissions reduction continue to be important environmental goals for China. To achieve the country’s green objectives, the Chinese government ordered the immediate effect of the “Coal-to-electricity” and “Coal-to-natural gas” policies to accelerate China’s clean energy heating reforms. Keeping pace with market trends, ISH China & CIHE – China International Trade Fair for Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning, Sanitation & Home Comfort System will be open for trade from 18 – 20 May 2017. Organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd and Beijing B&D Tiger Exhibition Co Ltd, the fair will occupy all eight halls at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing, China, across 106,800 sq m of exhibition space.
The three-day event will welcome 1,300 exhibitors and anticipate 55,000 professional visitors from around the world. Contributing to the impressive exhibition figures is the return of the up-scaled German and Italian Pavilions. Together, the two pavilions will utilise over 1,000 sq m of exhibition space, a 20% increase from the previous edition, to showcase the latest European technologies and products.
Environmental protection remain as China’s number one concern. With air pollution causing severe health issues to the country’s population, the government has increased ecological environment protection and management efforts by gradually eliminating coal combustion heaters with natural gas or electric powered heaters nationwide.
To support the aforementioned environmental initiatives, the show organisers have partnered up with the China Energy Conservation Association and the China Economic Information Service, Xinhua News Agency, to organise the “ISH China & CIHE China Clean Energy Heating Summit”, a panel discussion on clean energy heating for major northern cities in China including Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
