Revised Hung Shui Kiu plan announced
The Planning Department and the Civil Engineering & Development Department recently announced the Hung Shui Kiu New Development Area Revised Recommended Outline Development Plan.
     The plan was prepared under the Hung Shui Kiu New Development Area Planning & Engineering Study. The revised plan suggests the area will accommodate about 218,000 residents, including 176,000 in new population, provide about 150,000 employment opportunities, and 61,000 new flats.
     It will also offer development space for offices, hotels, retail, innovation and technology uses, modern logistics and modern industries.
     Its information digest and the Stage 3 community engagement report summarising the public views gathered and with the responses provided are available online for public reference.
     The government will continue to work on the details of the implementation arrangements for the project in the light of public views and suggestions collected.
