The Nansha district of Guangzhou city recently announced the development of Nansha Medical City. The Nansha Medical City occupies an area of more than 15 square kilometers. According to plan, within the first 5-year, two to three international standard general hospitals and about eight to ten specialized medical facilities will be completed. A 10-year plan has been approved to develop Nansha into a top-class medical hub in the region.
At the same time, the Guangdong provincial government has unveiled budget and plans to invest RMB1.41 trillion over the next three years (2013-2015) on major infrastructural projects.

The development of renewable energy is high on the agenda
The China State Power Bureau has recently approved construction of three new wind power projects in Heyuan city, Guangdong. The three newly approved projects in Heyuan are among the 30 wind power projects under development in the province. With a total investment of RMB1.5 billion yuan, the three projects will have a combined capacity of 148,500 kilowatt.
