Midea develops grade A office complex in Guiyang
Forest City Times is a highclass office and commercial development under construction in the city of Guiyang, Guizhou Province. Developed by Midea Read Estate Development Co Ltd, the project is situated at No 8 Changnin Bei Lu, Jinyang, Guiyang city. The entire development will provide a total GFA of approximately 42,000 square meters.
The 23-storey grade A office complex occupies a rectangular site at the corner of Changnin Bei Lu and Lincheng Dong Lu. Forest City Times comprises four tower blocks connected together by interlocking floors at various levels, sky gardens and the podium. Office units are available in various sizes ranging from 90 sq m to 1,400 sq m per unit to suit small and large companies. With a floor to ceiling height of approximately 4 meters, Forest Hill Times is exceptionally appealing to tenants occupying large area with open plan office design.
The superstructure is clad by glass curtainwall with Low-E glazing. Other green design features include central air-conditioning system and high speed elevators with energy conservation devices.
The development of Jinyang new district began ten years ago when the Guiyang Government administration offices were all relocated to Jinyang. Over the years, Jinyang has developed more than 40 sq km of land in the core area. Strategic planning of another 198 sq km of land has recently completed.
According to plan, Jinyang district will eventually grow to cover 307 sq km of land with a population 1.2 million in the near future. It is the new CBD of Guiyang city, the provincial capital of Guizhou Province. Guizhou Province is very rich in mineral resources. A high speed rail link is under construction to connect Guiyang with Guangzhou's South Station. Upon completion of the high speed rail link in about 3 to 4 years, it will take only four hours to travel between Guangzhou and Guiyang -- gateway to the under developed southwest region of mainland China.
