Refurbishing the Mong Kok East Railway Station

Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway Corporation has started a series of station improvement works for expanding its railway infrastructure. Program Contractors Ltd has over 20 years of solid experience cooperating with Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway Corporation. It is because of its high standard of occupation safety requirements, Program has successfully won the tender of Mong Kok East railway station improvement works.

The improvement works include the renewal of handrails, changing the concourse floor broads and refurbishing the kiosk. In order to distinguish Mong Kok East railway station from the other stations, Program installed 9 units of tadpole decoration, designed by Zhao Guanghui, onto the ceiling. The Mong Kok East railway station is one of the crowded railway stations in Hong Kong so it is not easy to get the job started during day time.
