Mason -- Lift Isolation Solutions

Mason introduces you the complete lift isolation solutions to cure vibration and noise that brings a comfortable environment to live and work. To cater for various situations, the combination of floating floor system and high-tech micro-cellular polyurethane isolation pads or neoprene isolators at guide rail brackets work together to reduce the transmission of structure-borne vibration and the re-radiated noise from structure.

Solutions for Lift Tractor
Floating floor system introduces an air gap between structural and floating slab which acts as an effective isolator for lift tractor that effectively isolates motor and gear noise. It also reduces vibration transmission at lift shaft to adjoining structures such as bedroom.

Jack-up type floating floor is characterised by jack-up mounts which enable the floating slab to be raised by means of the jack-screws after construction and could reduce the overall height of floating floor system.

The revolutionary material - Low Dynamic Stiffness (LDS) rubber is employed in floating floor mounts that offer natural frequency as low as 7 Hz when compared with fibreglass of 15 Hz for excellent isolation performance. It also carries features such as long life expectancy and truly structural physical properties.

Solutions for Lift Guide Rail Brackets
When lift car moves up and down, sound re-radiates from lift shaft walls due to the vibration from guide rail. The higher the elevator speed, the more the vibration generated at lift guide rail. The introduction of high-tech Sylomer^® PUR-Elastomer isolation pad at guide rail brackets decouples the mechanical contacts between the upper and lower brackets. This effectively reduces the transmission of structure-borne high frequency vibration.

Sylomer^® is available in various types with different load ranges. It is soft in dynamic movement for the best vibration absorption properties and becoming hard when at overload that keep the guide rail in position.

Apart from Sylomer^® pad selection, we recently have developed a higher deflection lift guide rail mounts manufactured by Mason Industries, Inc. for highly noise sensitive application.
