For any LV busway system, it must comply with IEC 60439 standard. IEC published their latest version of 60439 – 2:2005. MM Powerplus Busway is one of the very first suppliers to obtain ASTA certificates to ensure its compliance to the latest standard.
     The type tests will include temperature-rise limits, dielectric properties, short-circuit strength, effectiveness of protective circuit, clearances and creepage distances, mechanical operation, degree of protection, EMC tests, resistance of insulating materials to abnormal heat and fire, electrical characteristics of the trunking system, structural strength, endurance of the trucking systems, crushing resistance, resistance to flame propagation and fire resistance in building penetration.
