GIG and TLD strategic partnership agreement signed
On 28 June 2016, a strategic partnership agreement was signed between Guangxi Investment Group Yinhai Aluminum Co Ltd (GIG) and TLD Metalwork (Shenzhen) Co Ltd (TLD) to form, probably the largest aluminum formwork system fabricator in the region. Through a series of asset consolidation, the GIG-TLD partnership will further enhance professional status of both partners in their respective fields. TLD will continue to expand its local and international markets with advance technology and new resources.
     Also present at the ceremony, Aluma representatives signed a strategic agreement with TLD to further their cooperation in the development of overseas markets and the R&D of new formwork systems to meet market demand. Aluma is a forerunner in construction formwork systems with international appeal and the company is a member of the Brand Group (BEIS) in the US. The Brand Group is specialized in energy and infrastructure services with worldwide network. The Aluma-TLD cooperation, together with the strong financial resources of GIG will facilitate all stake holders to further expand globally.
     First introduced in 2009, TLD Formwork is the largest fabricator of aluminum formwork system in China. Through the years, the company’s main focus is in export markets, such as Dubai, India, Mexico, Brazil and Southeast Asia countries. Clients in Hong Kong and Macau regions include Hong Kong Housing Authority projects and many private developers.
     Current major projects in China secured by TLD include tunnel work for the new airport project in Beijing and also the massive Beijing underground conduit network, for which aluminum formwork systems are being used for the first time in civil projects.
